It promises to be a very exciting week ahead for Destiny fans, not only as we could get lots of fresh information about Destiny 2, but also lots more info on the impending Destiny update being worked on by Bungie. In the meantime, fans have reportedly found a potential Destiny 2 leak from a very unlikely source: A Destiny Mega Blok set.According to a post on Neogaf, fans spotted a bunch of unannounced Mega Bloks sets which appeared on Amazon early.”One of the Destiny sets features a [event] that clearly hasn’t happened in the game yet, and fits with some statements we’ve heard from [industry insider] Shinobi and Kotaku regarding the Tower and the Cabal. The game also hints at this itself,” reads the Neogaf post.Supposedly, this new Destiny Mega Blok set appears to list one major development in the Destiny 2 storyline.

One item, called the Cabal Bruiser Battle Building Set, includes a listing which describes a big battle going on in the Destiny Tower hangar.

The Mega bloks set in question has a description which reads:“Set the scene for a clash between a Bruiser’s crushing strength and a master swordsman’s skill. A legendary warrior faces his greatest contest yet in the Tower hangar.“Wielding his Raze-Lighter, hero of the Crucible Lord Shaxx prepares to pit his blade against the furious cleavers of a Cabal Red Guard.”While it needs to be taken with a pinch of salt until officially verified, it is worth considering that so far the Cabal enemy has been touted as the main antagonists for the upcoming sequel. But that’s not even the part which has fans excited, but rather the possibility of seeing some new NPC interaction in the game, including firefights in the Tower and NPCs that can fight alongside you in raids and dungeons.

While many expect to see some sort of Activision announcement at E3 later this year, there’s one very big reason to believe that more information on the shooter sequel could be coming in the week ahead.

While much of the above Mega Blok’s information is pure speculation for the time being, what is known is that the week ahead could yield some exciting new intel about the Destiny 2 Release Date.As mentioned previously, Activision Blizzard will deliver their fourth quarter earnings on February 9th, that’s this coming Thursday, ahead of the Friday ‘This week at Bungie post’In the past, these meetings have also been used to highlight what the company are planning in the months ahead and obviously revealing a few small snippets of information.”In February 2015, that was our first glimpse of what became the The Taken King” explains Redditor wallie123321.

“In February of 2016, earning results previewed showed us that another major expansion (Rise of Iron) was in the works for 2016, and a proper sequel was due in 2017.

“Now we come to February 2017 and we have not heard a peep from Bungie regarding Destiny 2.

“We do not know if it is still coming out this year, but if history repeats itself during Activision’s fourth quarter results we should have a couple answers on at least what 2017 has in store for us guardians.”
