India was bundled out for just 214 runs after they won the toss and batted first in the 3rd Test against South Africa in Nagpur on Wednesday.

At the end of the first day’s play, South Africa lost both their openers for the legendary Indian spinners for 11 runs.

South Africa score was 11/2 in 9 overs; they trail by 204 runs with eight-wicket remaining.

The last 10-15 overs, the pitch, behaved as if it was the 4th or 5th days play. A lot of bounces and turn.

With India playing three spinners and the way the visitors have faced the spinners in this series, it is unlikely that they take a big lead, or they might even fall short of India’s first innings score.

The series is currently for India 1-0 after the second Test was abandoned by rain in Bangalore.

The highest scorer for India was Murali Vijay with 40 runs while skipper Virat Kohli scored just 22 runs.

South Africa did not feel the scarcity of losing their spearhead pacer Steyn as their new entrant Palmer took four wickets. Morkel too bowled with tremendous pace to bag three wickets.
