Matt ‘NaDeSHoT’ Haag has released a video discussing his wish list for the 2017 Call of Duty release.

In the video, he touches on the need for a ranking system, citing many of the most successful games right now, all of which include a functional ranked mode. He also talks about how he believes customisation options, such as skins for characters or weapons, encourage players to become more invested in the game, in more than just a financial sense.

From a gameplay perspective, NaDeSHoT also made it clear that he didn’t want to see weapon variants make a return, explaining that elements that increase inconsistency decrease the quality of the game.

He believes Call of Duty needs to tone down the extra features a little and return to the simplicity that made it so successful, and also stressed that unlike this year, which has seen core features added months into the game’s lifecycle, the next Call of Duty must be complete on release.

Ending the video on an amusing and slightly lighter note, NaDeSHoT also listed some of the things that would ensure he did not buy the next Call of Duty, from transforming limbs, to laser beams.
