PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds on Xbox One has received a fresh update today aimed at ironing out some crashing bugs while tweaking the game’s control system. Players are now able to select a new preset, Type B, allowing you to aim down your weapon’s sights by holding LT.
In addition, you’re also able to utilise a third-person aim sight by holding down LB, while Bluehole has updated the controller guide to reflect these changes. On the weapons front, pistols can now be selected by hitting up on the D-pad, while memory and non-memory crash bugs have been squashed.
You can read the full patch notes on PUBG’s official forums, which also confirm two issues that will be addressed with the next Xbox One update. There’s no word yet on when this patch is due, but we’ll keep you posted.
PUBG launched on Microsoft’s console as part of the Xbox One Game Preview service last month, though was plagued by a number of teething issues. Slowly but surely its developer is attempting to iron out these niggles, though it appears they have not had much of a detrimental effect; the Xbox One version of the game has now drummed up a three million players worldwide.
